Our teletherapy sessions allow clients to receive quality mental health care from the comfort and convenience of their own home. We utilize a secure and easy-to-use platform to provide clients with a safe and confidential space to discuss their concerns and work towards their goals.
At the Wise Mind Psychology Center, we promise to use leading research to guide your treatment while also listening to you and tailoring the interventions to manage your specific concerns within your unique history and current perspective/functioning. We believe in providing interventions with strong research support and that you as the consumer have the right to ask at any point in treatment, why a statement or intervention was provided, and that we as providers should have a rationale for our response rooted in psychological theory and research.
The Society of Clinical Psychology (Division 12) of the American Psychological Association provides a list of research-supported psychological treatments for a variety of concerns and diagnoses. The Society of Clinical Psychology evaluates the treatment modalities as having “strong,” “modest,” and “controversial” research support. As a consumer of a product, we believe you should know that you are receiving the most scientifically supported treatment available. Therefore, we only provide interventions rooted within the “strong” research support category. It is important to note, however, that not all areas of concern, diagnoses, and intervention have been studied and that this is a continuously growing and changing process. Therefore, we commit to staying up to date on the most current research in intervention so that you may engage in our services knowing you are receiving high quality care.
